Meanwhile Lacey, trying to comfort Matt, reveals that she is being threatened by her manic-depressive husband, Gary (Terry Kiser); a high powered lawyer who buys guns instead of jewelery. Matt goes to Gary to try and talk some sense into him, but Gary's increasingly psychotic behavior causes Lacey to turn the tables and take aim at him giving him a dose of his own abusive behavior before she walks out of her marriage. In his ensuing rage, Gary takes everything Lacey owns and blasts it to oblivion. Out of this rubble of broken relationships, Matt finally comes to terms with the mistakes he has made and decides to move on. A few years later we find Matt in a loving relationship with a new woman doing what he does best.... training horses.

Puccini - Madama Butterfly (Karajan), at Woolworths
